  • Orland Park, IL Personal Balance Counseling is a well-established outpatient mental health practice serving the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
Our mission is simple:
people helping people find personal balance. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add an experienced Registered Dietitian who specializes in eating disorders and disordered eating behaviors to join our collaborative care team. We receive regular referrals for eating disorder treatment and are expanding our care team to better support clients seeking integrated therapy and nutrition services. This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian who enjoys working alongside therapists in a team-based outpatient setting and wants the flexibility of either 1099 contract work or W-2 employment. About the Role The dietitian will work closely with therapists who specialize in eating disorders, trauma, personality disorders, and emotional regulation to support clients struggling with: Anorexia Bulimia Binge Eating Disorder ARFID Chronic dieting and disordered eating behaviors Body image concerns Emotional eating patterns Clients are primarily teens and adults receiving outpatient therapy , allowing for collaborative treatment planning between therapist and dietitian. Appointments may be offered in-person at our Orland Park office and/or via telehealth. Schedule We offer extremely flexible scheduling .
Dietitians may choose:
Part-time hours Evening or daytime availability In-person and/or telehealth appointments You control your schedule. Compensation Compensation is based on insurance reimbursement rates and paid per session. Typical reimbursement ranges $65
  • 120+ per session depending on insurance carrier.
Responsibilities Provide nutrition counseling for eating disorders and disordered eating behaviors Collaborate with therapists to support coordinated treatment plans Document sessions in our electronic health record Provide psychoeducation around nutrition, body image, and recovery Communicate with referring therapists as appropriate
Qualifications Required:
Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) in Illinois or eligible Experience working with eating disorders or disordered eating behaviors
Preferred:
