Outpatient Registered Dietitian

About us New Leaf Nutrition is a private dietitian practice in O'Fallon, MO. Our goal is to better lives with balanced nutrition. This position is PRN or part time depending on the applicant's preferred availability with the possibility of growing to full time if desired. If PRN is preferred, PTO will not be available. New graduates who are pending the CDR exam are welcome to apply!

An ideal candidate would be someone who seeks long-term employment as our clients tend to build lasting relationships with their provider. The dietitian hired will be required to perform the following: 1 on 1 counseling in a private practice setting. Be available to see clients at least two evenings per week. Attend staff/progress meetings. Problem-solve independently. Demonstrate knowledge of the current research regarding nutrition. Demonstrate ability to teach others. Demonstrate ability to relate well to individuals and groups with widely varying backgrounds, perspectives, education, and skills. Display an excellent work record, superior communication, cooperation, and organizational skills required. Work collaboratively with team members. Practice confidentiality, effective interpersonal skills, good judgment, ability to listen with empathy and set client-centered priorities. Required Bachelor's degree at a US regionally accredited university or college by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility. Complete 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years in accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Provide proof of licensure per state requirements. Not required, but beneficial to have: Ability to use social media effectively.
