September Start date after credentialing. NW Pediatric & Family Nutrition is a well-established, collaborative group practice supporting families in raising confident, competent eaters. We specialize in pediatric nutrition, picky eating, ARFID, eating disorders, and family-centered care. We are HAES-aligned and grounded in Ellyn Satter's Division of Responsibility. We are seeking an experienced dietitian who is confident working with children, teens, young adults and families—extra bonus if applicant has a passion about eating disorder recovery and weight-inclusive care. About the Role Provide evidence-informed nutrition counseling for children, teens and families (virtual + in-office) Hybrid schedule: 1-2 days/week in our Portland office ; remaining visits can be virtual Begin hourly while building caseload; transition to salary once established Grow to 4 days/week (20 clients/32 hours /week considered full time) Will accept part-time position of 15 clients/week, 24 hr/week. Responsibilities Provide MNT and nutrition counseling using MI, HAES, intuitive eating, and DOR frameworks Conduct thorough assessments and maintain timely EHR documentation Communicate and coordinate care with multidisciplinary providers Prepare provider summaries and manage communication through EHR/fax Participate in team meetings and CE opportunities Uphold our supportive, collaborative practice culture Required Qualifications Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) Oregon license (or in process); Washington CD preferred or willing to obtain 2+ years outpatient/clinical experience preferred Experience working with children and families Extra bonus if experience with eating disorders Solid understanding of DOR, HAES, and intuitive eating Strong communication skills; able to work independently and collaboratively Must live in or near Portland, OR for required in-office days Ideal Candidate You're a great fit if you: Enjoy working with children and supporting parents with DOR principles Passion for weight inclusive care Have strong counseling and diagnostic skills Value ongoing growth and professional development Thrive in a supportive, team-centered environment Bring warmth, professionalism, and a desire to contribute to our mission ⭐ Benefits & What Makes This Role Special We pride ourselves on offering the connection, growth, and support that private practice clinicians often miss.
