About Our Practice We are a busy pediatric primary care practice committed to supporting children's physical, emotional, and developmental health. We value collaborative, compassionate care, communication, and practical guidance that meets families where they are. We are seeking a Pediatric Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join our team and provide nutrition counseling and education for infants, children, adolescents, young adults, and their caregivers. Position Overview The Pediatric RDN will work closely with pediatric clinicians to support patients with feeding, growth, and nutrition concerns. This role will begin as part‑time with the opportunity to grow as demand increases. The ideal candidate is warm, flexible, evidence‑based, and comfortable working with families who may be overwhelmed with managing complex feeding challenges. Key Responsibilities Provide individual nutrition counseling for pediatric patients and families including but not limited to infant feeding and growth concerns, picky eating, feeding difficulties, weight concerns, GI‑related nutrition issues, food allergies/intolerances, adolescent nutrition and sports nutrition Collaborate with pediatricians, nurse practitioners, and staff on care plans Document visits clearly and efficiently in the EMR (Epic experience preferred) Create or contribute to patient education materials and handouts Participate in team discussions and care coordination as needed Optionally lead group classes or parent education sessions (based on interest) Required Qualifications Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN/RD) Licensed in Massachusetts A minimum of 2 years' experience working with pediatric patients and families Strong communication and counseling skills Ability to provide non‑judgmental, developmentally appropriate guidance Comfort working independently within a collaborative medical team Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with feeding disorders, picky eating, or infant nutrition Experience working with neurodivergent children Experience with eating disorder treatment Certification or advanced training in pediatric nutrition (e.g., CSP) Weight‑neutral, family‑centered, and trauma‑informed care approaches Interest or certification in Lactation consulting Schedule & Compensation Part‑time, hybrid schedule (hours/days flexible) Compensation commensurate with experience Administrative support provided for scheduling and referrals Why Join Us?
