Job Description

Position Summary The Clinical Nutrition Team at Boston Children's Hospital is dedicated to providing infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with comprehensive nutrition assessments—an essential component of individualized care plans for a wide range of conditions. This role offers the opportunity to work across several multidisciplinary clinic settings, supporting diverse patient populations. The position is hybrid with onsite days at our Longwood Ave location in Boston and includes our general open nutrition clinic and CAIR (Center for Advanced Intestinal Rehabilitation) clinic. CAIR is a multi-disciplinary clinic for patients with short bowel syndrome (also called intestinal failure or short gut syndrome). This position is available for 32 hours per week. CNSC credential is preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
Providing nutritional care to patients within specific inpatient and outpatient settings. Evaluating the medical, biochemical, and nutritional information and assessing patient needs in order to develop and implement the most appropriate nutrition care plans. Assisting in the supervision of the daily work of the dietetic technician.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in
Nutrition & Dietetics Experience:
3+ years of progressive experience in Dietetics with at least 2 years in pediatric nutrition
Certifications/Licensure:
Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian. CNSC credential is preferred, but not required.
