Duties Conduct or oversee comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate nutritional status, including medical history, dietary habits, and physiological factors Develop and implement individualized care plans that address specific health conditions such as weight management, geriatrics, acute care needs, or long-term care requirements Provide expert guidance dietary modifications tailored to patient diagnoses Deliver health coaching sessions focused on lifestyle changes, weight loss strategies, and overall wellness promotion as needed Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and adjust nutrition plans accordingly to optimize outcomes if requested by the overseeing physician Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems and facilitate seamless communication Supervise dietary staff when needed and contribute to the training of new team members in clinical protocols and best practices Experience Proven experience in hospital or acute care settings with a strong understanding of physiology and diagnostic evaluation processes Demonstrated expertise in creating effective care plans for diverse populations Hands-on experience with dietary department operations and proficiency in EMR systems used in healthcare environments Background in health coaching with a focus on weight loss, lifestyle modifications, or chronic disease management Supervisory experience or leadership roles within dietary or healthcare teams are advantageous but not mandatory Knowledge of nutrition principles related to diagnostics evaluation, patient assessment techniques, and dietary interventions across various clinical settings Join us as a Per Diem Registered Dietitian and leverage your skills to empower patients on their journey toward better health.
