Full-Time (40hrs/wk). 8:00am- 4:30pm (MST) , rotating weekends and holidays per department needs. No on-call requirements. This role is for a Hospital Level Care at Home Dietitian, providing acute level of care in a virtual capacity.Additional Details:
This position is remote. Currently, we are not hiring remote workers in the following states: CA, CT, HI, IL, NY, RI, VT, and WA. Please note that a video interview through Microsoft Teams will be required as well + Comfortable assessing patients using telehealth technology + Highly collaborative and communicative across written and verbal communication + >3 years inpatient experience strongly preferred + Certified Nutrition Support Clinician strongly preferred + > 2 years experience with custom parenteral nutrition for adult patientsSign On Bonus:
$2500 Essential Functions + Provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to individuals with specialized health conditions and or in specialized populations. + Uses the Nutrition Care Process to facilitate the provision of more complex nutrition care with moderate autonomy and supportive guidance from advanced practice dietitians. + Uses advanced counseling techniques to influence behavior change. + Uses technology in estimating needs and nutrition goals (ex: indirect calorimetry, nutrient analysis software, glucometers, etc.) + Mentors newly graduated dietitians, dietetic interns, and clinical diet techs. + Applies research to improve patient outcomes. Implements the latest evidence-based care with the interdisciplinary team and in updating care practices/processes within the facility. + Manages nutrition care across the continuum including durable medical equipment order writing. + Registered Dietitian Nutritionist order writing privileges per policy/protocol.
