This is an ideal opportunity for a dietitian who values flexibility, autonomy, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with clients while providing high-quality nutrition care. This PRN/part-time 1099 independent contractor position that allows you to determine your own schedule and caseload. Patients will be referred to you through the practice, and you will have the flexibility to decide which clients you accept, when you see them, and how many appointments you schedule, while maintaining compliance with insurance requirements and clinical best practices. As a startup private practice, we welcome innovative thinkers who are excited to help shape and grow a modern nutrition counseling business. Flexible PRN/Part-Time schedule Work remotely and/or in-person depending on client needs and your preferences Mobile practice model (home visits and community-based sessions) Create your own availability and manage your caseload Opportunity to grow alongside an expanding private practice Collaborative and supportive environment Administrative support provided, including insurance billing and claims management Freedom to bring new ideas, programs, services, and business development initiatives Responsibilities Provide individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments Deliver evidence-based nutrition counseling and health coaching Develop personalized meal plans Provide behavior change support and accountability coaching Conduct grocery store tours and food shopping education when appropriate Support clients with chronic disease management, weight management, preventive health, sports nutrition, and general wellness Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with the practice owner and other healthcare professionals as needed Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential Active Washington State dietitian license Excellent communication and counseling skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with the practice team Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain) Preferred Experience in outpatient nutrition counseling Experience with insurance-based nutrition services Experience providing telehealth services Specialty certifications or areas of expertise are welcome Candidates should either: Already be credentialed with commercial insurance plans, Medicare, and/or Medicaid; or Be willing to become credentialed with insurance providers (we will take care all credentialing, billing for you) Due to the process of become credentialed and contracted with insurance, start date for this position can be up to 60-120 days from date of hire
