NutriTech is looking for a Registered Dietitian to join our growing team. We have a part-time opportunity in your area. Position is 12-16 hours a week at a reputable SNF in Urbana,Ohio. Position is hybrid to help with work-life balance. Perfect position for a dietitian wanting to add part-time work to their schedule. Pay is very competitive. Responsibilities and Duties Provide ongoing nutrition support to staff and residents Implement dietary care plans Provide nutrition consultation to residents, staff and families on nutrition principles, diet modifications and any risks/concerns Inspect kitchen and dietary service areas to ensure compliance with food code regulations Ensure prescribed diets are followed and meet daily nutrition need requirements. This includes therapeutic and texture modifications Review menus for nutritional adequacy Be a team proactive team player Qualifications and Skills Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently or with members of the healthcare team Must have ability to effectively communicate with residents and/ or their families Must be licensed with the State of Ohio in Dietetics Long Term Care Experience with a comprehensive knowledge of Section K on MDS is a plus Must be able to complete clinical assessments and implement nutritional plan of care to help improve patient outcomes and/or quality of life Knowledge of menu requirements Knowledge of State and Federal Guidelines Benefits This job does not provide benefits
