Job Description

TLB Nutrition Therapy is looking for a registered dietitian to join the team.
TLB Nutrition Therapy's Philosophy:
The dietitians at TLB Nutrition Therapy strive to provide individualized nutrition care for those wanting to heal their relationship with food and their bodies. Our goal is to support each client on their food and body journey by centering their lived experiences, honoring their unique needs, and practicing from a place of curiosity and respect. While we acknowledge that much of traditional research is rooted in bias and lacks inclusivity, we prioritize the wisdom of the individual in front of us. Our recommendations are guided by the client's lived reality—not generalized assumptions. We believe in providing inclusive, affirming care for people of all races, body sizes, gender identities, ethnic backgrounds, and socioeconomic experiences. Our neutral approach to food and body allows us to support clients as they move from a disordered or confused relationship with eating and embodiment toward a more peaceful and empowered place. We aim to help clients embrace their food choices, trust their body's cues, and explore joyful, accessible movement. Through this process of embracing, trusting, and exploring, we believe true freedom is possible.
Qualifications:
The dietitian will….. Have eating disorder experience and understanding - 1-2 years experience is preferred, but not required. Provide care to clients aligning with TLB Nutrition Therapy's philosophy Be a registered dietitian and in good standing with CDR Either be licensed in Texas or willing to move forward with licensure
Position Details:
This will be an in-person position with the option of hybrid remote work. It is required that the dietitian live in Austin/Dripping Springs (or nearby) Texas and be willing to see clients in person at both the Central Location and Dripping Springs Location or solely the Dripping Springs location + virtual. Please see website for details on these locations. The position will initially start off as part-time as caseload is being built into a full-time caseload. There will be a probationary period of 60-90 days. Will be paneled with insurance companies Employee position with full-time benefits available (including health insurance, 401K matching, etc) Other benefits offered: Supervision (individual/group), paid membership to professional organizations, etc. Start date post insurance credentialing (45-100 days) Please note this is job is required to be local in Austin Texas. TLB Nutrition Therapy serves a diverse client population, and the ability to provide nutrition counseling in both English and Spanish is highly valued. Bilingual candidates may have opportunities to serve Spanish-speaking clients and referral sources. This is not required, but encouraged to apply if you meet this criteria.
