Registered Dietitian (Hybrid) 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars North Canton, OH 44720 Hybrid work $35 - $42 an hour - Full-time Windsor Medical Center, Inc. 44 reviews $35 - $42 an hour - Full-time Part-Time Registered Dietitian Windsor Medical Center & Assisted Living North Canton, Ohio Part-Time Hybrid Position Windsor Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in a flexible hybrid role that includes both onsite and remote work responsibilities. This position is responsible for providing nutritional oversight and clinical dietary services for residents in both our skilled nursing facility and assisted living community in accordance with all applicable CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) , ODH (Ohio Department of Health) , and state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in long-term care nutrition services, resident assessments, therapeutic diets, and regulatory compliance while working collaboratively with nursing, dietary, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional resident care and nutritional outcomes. Position Responsibilities Complete comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents upon admission, quarterly, annually, and with significant changes in condition as required by CMS and ODH regulations Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans Review and approve menus to ensure nutritional adequacy, therapeutic diet compliance, and resident satisfaction Monitor residents for weight changes, skin integrity concerns, hydration status, malnutrition risk, and other nutritional indicators Provide recommendations for nutritional interventions, supplements, modified diets, and feeding assistance needs Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings and resident care conferences Ensure compliance with all CMS F-Tag requirements related to dietary services and nutrition management Provide oversight and guidance to the Dietary Department regarding therapeutic diets, food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards Monitor documentation related to nutritional services for accuracy and compliance Conduct routine kitchen and dining service audits to ensure food quality, sanitation, and infection control standards are maintained Assist with survey preparedness and participate in state and federal inspections as needed Educate residents, families, and staff regarding nutritional care and dietary needs Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, speech therapy, and administration to optimize resident nutritional outcomes Complete portions of documentation, care plan reviews, menu analysis, and administrative responsibilities remotely as appropriate Qualifications Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required Licensed Dietitian in the State of Ohio required Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living preferred Strong knowledge of CMS, ODH, and state/federal dietary regulations for nursing homes and assisted living facilities Experience with MDS assessments, care planning, and clinical nutrition documentation preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities Knowledge of therapeutic diets, nutritional supplementation, texture modifications, and food safety regulations Comfortable working in both onsite clinical settings and remote administrative environments Schedule Part-Time Hybrid Position Combination of onsite facility coverage and remote work Flexible scheduling based on facility needs and regulatory requirements Why Join Windsor Medical Center?
