Empathy Nutrition Therapy's values include: empathy, collaboration, authenticity, and trust. Our dietitians specialize in the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating along with co-occurring conditions. The dietitians at Empathy Nutrition Therapy are health at every size, intuitive eating informed, and utilize evidence based practices Empathy Nutrition Therapy accepts major insurance carriers and values access to care. The dietitian will also be paneled with various insurances. The ideal candidate is someone looking for a group practice to focus solely on patient centered client care while the administrative and business tasks are taken care of for them. This position is also for someone that wants to be a part of a growing practice. The ideal candidate will value hard work, time management, organization skills, be self motivated, compassionate, authentic, and trustworthy. The candidate will need to be licensed in Texas. The position is preferred as hybrid; a mix of virtual and in person sessions, however fully virtual is also open for a good fit candidate. The dietitians at Empathy Nutrition Therapy provide individual nutrition counseling to adults and adolescents/families.

eating disorders, disordered eating, and other medical conditions. At Empathy Nutrition Therapy, we value high quality care for our clients and expect our clinicians to attend supervision and continuing education as needed in order to continue growth personally and professionally. The position will start part time with the potential to move full time.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform nutrition counseling in accordance with Empathy Nutrition Therapy's policies Adhere to Empathy Nutrition Therapy's values and practice philosophies Be properly licensed Abide by all laws, rules, regulations and code of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to Empathy Nutrition Therapy Regular and reliable attendance to work Maintain appropriate boundaries Specialize in eating disorders Complete record keeping in a timely manner by end of day Patient files are up to date Communication with a patients treatment team as needed Obtain medical records from other treatment team members as needed Include diagnosis codes as needed with proper documentation from other treatment providers Respond to patient requests for services within 24-48 business hours Charge and collect payments for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by Empathy Nutrition Therapy Refer to other providers if indicated Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings held by Empathy Nutrition Therapy Be respectful of staff at Empathy Nutrition Therapy Other duties may be included
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in dietetics and completed internship; and Active, unrestricted Registered Dietitian License (RD). A copy must be provided to Empathy Nutrition Therapy. License (or willingness to obtain) licensure in the state of Texas Full time is considered a minimum of 22 sessions per week, provided such sessions are available by Empathy Nutrition Therapy.
Other Qualification Preferences:
Two years experience as a registered dietitian in the eating disorder field. Experience working with adolescents/families and adults.
