Registered Dietitian Full Job Description Work Schedule:
Part Time Work Location:

To assess nutrition status, develop, implement, and monitor nutrition interventions to achieve medical nutrition therapy goals and desired outcomes, provide nutrition education and counseling, and document all nutrition intervention in the medical record. This is a hybrid position. Care would be provided in person at Hoover or by video telehealth.Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Medical Dietetics or related field required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION
If licensed prior to 12/31/2023 a Bachelor's degree in human nutrition, food and nutrition, dietetics, or food systems management required. If licensed after 01/01/2024 a Master's degree in human nutrition, food and nutrition, dietetics, or nutrition education required. Currently licensed (active or temporary) as a Dietitian with the State of Alabama Board of Examiners for Dietetic/Nutrition Practice required.TRAITS & SKILLS
Must be self-directed / self-motivated; must have good communication and interpersonal skills.Must be able to:
