Viaro Health | La Crosse, WI (Hybrid options available) For the dietitian who knows there's more to health than macros… Viaro Health is seeking a compassionate, motivated Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist to join our integrative Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership practice. This is a unique opportunity to practice nutrition in a relationship-based, whole-person care model—where you have the time, support, and autonomy to truly help patients create meaningful, lasting change. You will be mentored and supported by an experienced clinical team with deep roots in family and functional medicine. Our membership model allows us to deliver comprehensive, integrative care without the constraints of insurance-driven medicine. We are not a traditional 10-minute clinic. Position Overview As our nutrition expert, you will play a key role in guiding patients toward sustainable, personalized health outcomes. Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT), assessments, and follow-up care Support patients with chronic conditions (diabetes, obesity, hypertension, GI concerns, etc.) Guide behavior change through practical, lifestyle-based coaching Collaborate closely with primary care and behavioral health teams Offer functional and integrative nutrition perspectives when appropriate Lead group visits, workshops, or educational sessions Contribute to patient education materials and content development
Requirements:
Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics Strong communication and documentation skills Comfort with hybrid (in-person + virtual) care Excellent patient rapport and coaching ability Team-oriented, reliable, and professional Preferred (Not Required) 3-5 years of clinical experience preferred Training or certification in functional/integrative nutrition (SAFM, IFM, IIN, or similar) Experience with hormone health, medical weight loss, or lifestyle medicine Experience in a membership or DPC model Familiarity with Athena EHR Contract Details 1099 contractor role Flexible schedule (approximately 4-6 hours/week to start, with growth potential) In-person and/or virtual options available Contractor maintains licensure, malpractice coverage, and CE requirements This Role Is a Great Fit If You… Love building long-term relationships with patients Enjoy teaching, coaching, and empowering behavior change Feel energized by prevention and root-cause approaches Are comfortable leading small groups or workshops Are curious, growth-minded, and collaborative Want to be part of a modern, forward-thinking care model Enjoy the creativity of contributing to educational content or social media outreach What We Offer Supportive, low-stress clinical environment Direct mentorship from an experienced integrative care team Opportunity to expand into longevity, hormone, and lifestyle medicine Competitive compensation based on experience Room for growth within an innovative and evolving practice If you're someone who's been craving a way to practice nutrition that feels more aligned, more relational, and more impactful—we'd love to meet you.
