JOB SUMMARY

Provide nutritional recommendations and plans for patients in an outpatient setting; and work collaboratively with practitioners to make recommendations to meet nutritional and weight loss goals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing; presenting and/or coordinating educational programs; adhering to governing agencies' guidelines and mandates; assessing patients and developing meal plans according to current standards of care; guiding support groups and teaching kitchen lessons; and acting as a resource and liaison to the community; helping provide promotional events to the community; physicians; nursing units; and ancillary departments at

HMC/HMCS. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education Master's Degree in Food; Nutrition; & Dietetics (RD) Minimum Work Experience 1 year of clinical experience minimum; or will consider less with relevant clinical experience during educational degree training Required Licenses/Certifications Current licensure registered dietician in the state of Texas Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities Commitment to nutritional education as a methodology for promoting continuous quality improvement in the delivery of patient care and services Ability to develop and present educational information in a professional manner Organize and complete educational records according to facility and governing agency requirements Save job Apply now
