Permanent $70,000-$75,000 per year 40 Hours/week | Direct-hire position K-12 School System Food service experience or school nutrition experience preferred Weekdays, da ytime hours This unique opportunity in Lancaster, TX is perfect for a food service RD looking for a permanent position. Use your expertise to make an impact on children from grades K-12 in a charming city with convenien t access to the larger Dallas area. Key Duties Perform onsite reviews of assigned school sites to evaluate compliance. Plan menus that are within Federal and State Regulations for the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. Oversee communication with district staff, employees, and community regarding special dietary needs and menu related topics. Create and implement trainings materials and handouts to support the district as needed. Conduct trainings with kitchen staff. Any other duties as assigned. Required Licenses/Certifications This position requires a person that is a leader and is able to handle a fast pace environment. A minimum of 2 years work experience in school nutrition or related field is preferred, but not required. Consideration will be given to candidates with other foodservice related work experience. Minimum BS in Nutrition or related field. Registered Dietitian credential in the state of TX is required Dietitians On Demand is a dietitian-focused staffing company with a national footprint.
