WIC Traveling CA/Nutritionist Lubbock Clinic South Plains Community Action Association - 2.9 Lubbock, TX Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Qualifications Exercise Science Spanish Management Bachelor of Science Community nutrition program support Nutrition One-on-one patient counseling Client referral services Breastfeeding support Dietetics Referral coordination Bachelor's degree in exercise science Bachelor of Arts Health education and counseling Entry level Community resource coordination Full Job Description Must have a B.S. or B.A in Nutrition or Dietetics; or B.S. in Nutritional Science, Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition, and/or Exercise/Sports Science, with a minimum of 24 Semester Hours of Food and Nutrition; Will be cross-trained to perform multiple duties. Provide coverage for Nutritionist, CA, WCS if needed. Will be required to stay overnight for several days or weeks within the 114- counties. Provides individual counseling for low/medium risk topics and nutrition/breastfeeding education classes to all WIC participants. Authorizes issuance of Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) for WIC participants. Makes referrals to appropriate health, social and education services to RD' within a timely manner. Must be will to take the initiative and be willing to learn. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Ability to manage a staff of 3 or more employees. Job Location Lubbock, Tx
