Embrace New Life Counseling & Wellness Rockwall/Heath Royse City Greenville Virtual Across Texas 1099 Independent Contractor | Flexible Schedule About Embrace At Embrace New Life Counseling & Wellness, we provide structured, relational, doctoral-led care for children, teens, adults, couples, and families across Texas. We are expanding our services and seeking a compassionate, clinically strong Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to help develop and support our: GLP-1 Recovery & Eating Stability Track™ This specialized track is designed to support clients struggling with: GLP-1 medication adjustment challenges Anorexia Nervosa Bulimia Nervosa Restrictive eating Emotional eating ARFID traits Neurodivergent eating patterns Body image distress College-age eating instability Trauma-related food control behaviors Nervous system dysregulation related to appetite and food We are also expanding support services for children and teens with: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) ADHD Sensory-related eating challenges Executive functioning difficulties related to meals and nutrition Limited food variety and food rigidity Emotional dysregulation around eating and routines We are building a psychologically informed, trauma-aware, interdisciplinary program that integrates therapy, nutrition, nervous system regulation, and sustainable healing. Position Overview The Registered Dietitian will collaborate closely with therapists, families, physicians, and clients to provide nutritional stabilization and recovery-oriented care.
This role may include:
Eating disorder recovery support GLP-1 stabilization support Parent coaching around feeding challenges Neurodivergent nutrition support for children and teens Sensory-friendly meal planning strategies Executive functioning support related to eating habits and routines This is not a rigid diet-culture environment. We value relational care, emotional safety, education, sustainable habits, and compassionate accountability. Responsibilities Conduct nutritional assessments and screenings Develop individualized nutrition stabilization plans Support clients recovering from eating disorders and restrictive eating patterns Collaborate with therapists and outside providers Provide psychoeducation regarding nutrition, appetite regulation, and recovery Support clients navigating GLP-1 medication-related changes Assist families with autism- and ADHD-related feeding challenges Support sensory-sensitive and executive-functioning-friendly nutrition strategies Document services according to professional standards Participate in collaborative treatment planning Potential opportunity to facilitate workshops, parent trainings, groups, and online educational content Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Is a licensed Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) Has experience or strong interest in eating disorder recovery Understands trauma-informed and shame-free care Works well with children, teens, young adults, women, and families Values interdisciplinary collaboration Understands the emotional and psychological aspects of food and body image Is comfortable working in a private-pay outpatient environment Preferred but not required: Eating disorder experience GLP-1 support experience Autism and ADHD support experience ARFID or sensory feeding experience Neurodivergent client experience IBS/GI-sensitive nutrition support Family systems perspective Christian-sensitive care experience Public speaking or workshop facilitation What We Offer Flexible schedule Administrative support Marketing support Professional referral development Beautiful office environments Opportunity to help shape an innovative specialty care track Collaborative doctoral-led clinical environment Compensation Competitive contractor compensation structure based on experience, availability, and services offered.Opportunities may include:
