Crestwood Health and Rehabilitation Center is under new management and is searching for housekeeper/laundry aides to join our team. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Dietary Manager to lead and oversee the dietary operations within a healthcare or assisted living setting. In this vital role, you will ensure the delivery of nutritious, well-balanced meals tailored to residents' needs while maintaining compliance with health regulations and budgetary guidelines. Your leadership will foster a positive dining experience, promote health and wellness, and support overall quality of life for residents. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through expert management of dietary services, patient assessment, and nutrition care plans. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee meal plans that meet residents' nutritional needs, including specialized diets such as tube feeding and diagnostic evaluation requirements Supervise dietary staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of service and safety Conduct patient assessments to determine individual dietary needs and create personalized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams Manage dietary department operations, including budgeting, inventory control, and procurement of food supplies and equipment Ensure compliance with all health regulations, safety standards, and best practices in assisted living environments Educate residents on nutrition and health coaching strategies to promote wellness and healthy eating habits Oversee the preparation and presentation of meals, maintaining quality control and food safety standards Skills Strong knowledge of dietetics, physiology, nutrition science, and care planning principles Proven management experience in dietary departments or healthcare settings with supervising responsibilities Familiarity with assisted living facilities' regulations and patient assessment procedures Ability to handle specialized feeding techniques such as tube feeding with precision and care Excellent leadership skills to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment Competence in budgeting, inventory management, and resource allocation within a dietary context Effective communication skills for coordinating with healthcare providers, residents, families, and staff Join us in creating a nourishing environment where compassionate care meets expert management.
