This role focuses on improving health outcomes through individualized nutrition plans, education, and collaboration with our interdisciplinary team. The Dietitian plays a critical role in promoting wellness, managing disease through nutrition, and ensuring regulatory compliance across dining and clinical services.Schedule:
2 days per week (including Wednesday), 8 hours per dayCompensation:
Up to $50/hourPosition Type:

Must carry professional liability insuranceKey Responsibilities:
Assess resident nutritional status using medical records, lab values, and dietary history Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans Provide medical nutrition therapy for conditions such as diabetes, renal disease, and weight management Counsel residents, families, and staff on dietary needs and healthy eating habits Provide education on therapeutic diets and nutrition best practices Review menus to ensure nutritional adequacy and compliance with prescribed diets Support regulatory compliance with CMS, state, and local guidelines Maintain accurate documentation of nutrition assessments and interventionsQualifications:
Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) required Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field Completion of accredited internship and national registration exam Current state licensure (as required) Experience in long-term care, healthcare, or senior living preferred Covenant Woods provides a truly unique experience - not only for the residents who call Covenant Woods home, but for our team of dedicated, compassionate, and talented staff who choose to make Covenant Woods their second home.
