Clinical Dietitian (RDN) Hospital-Based |
Inpatient & Outpatient Location:
1906 Belleview Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24014 We are hiring a Clinical Dietitian (RDN) to provide medical nutrition therapy and education for inpatient and outpatient populations ranging from neonates to geriatrics. This role partners closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality patient outcomes.
Pay:
$25.77 - $38.66/hour (based on experience) $15k
Sign On Bonus Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM 6-7 weekends per year (hours vary based on patient needs) Patient Population /
Units:
Pediatrics Kidney Transplant Center Med/Surg Progressive Care Units (PCU) ICU Inpatient and Outpatient services available
Responsibilities:
Assess nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans Respond to inpatient consults and outpatient referrals Provide advanced enteral and parenteral nutrition support (ASPEN guidelines) Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR Identify and document malnutrition using evidence-based criteria Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on nutrition therapy Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams and participate in rounds Support nutrition protocols, quality improvement, and performance initiatives
Requirements:
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) required (or RDN-eligible; must obtain within 90 days) Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics required Completion of an ADA-approved internship or clinical experience required Apply today to join a team where your nutrition expertise directly impacts patient care. #
