Additionally responsible for providing nutrition assessment and counseling to patients. Coordinate care with clinical and medical treatment team to assist in treatment plans for patients.
Schedules Needed:
Monday-Thursday 8am-6:30pm Tuesday-Friday 8am-6:30pm
Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated competency in the use of Microsoft Office and the ability to use various software programs Experience and literacy with Electronic Medical Records systems and medical practice software Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check (Federal and state) Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends & holidays as needed Perform other duties as assigned Graduate of an accredited Dietetics program Current RD license in good standing with WA State Certification Must possess current and active WA State Food Handler's Permit, or obtain one within the first two (2) weeks of hire Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with eating disorders, trauma, chemical dependency, mood disorders, and/or anxiety disordered patients Experience with Kipu, AVEA, and/or

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Provide direct nutritional care for patients in residential, PHP and IOP programs, including, but not limited to nutrition assessments, care planning, monitoring and evaluation, and enteral nutrition therapy (residential only); Coordinate weekly meetings with patients to develop meal plans and establish/assess nutrition goals using a HAES (Health at Every Size) approach. Monitor and assist patients with meal preparation/planning Support with the development of meal and snack menus for PHP and residential patients that would positively impact treatment of anxiety, depression, and eating disorders Support the development of and lead weekly nutrition education groups for patients and parents/caregivers Maintain all nutritional data for patients in EMR patient charts Communicate with outside providers and patient family members regarding nutritional information as needed Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary team Provide regular meal & snack monitoring Ensure maintenance of kitchen cleanliness and organization All other duties as assigned

Equipment includes standard office equipment, i.e. computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, printer, and scanner. Physical demands include sitting, walking, standing, bending over, repetitive use of hands, and lifting up to 25lbs. Position requires close contact with all THIRA Health staff and mental health patients. Hours and days can vary within a Saturday through Friday week. #priority

$34.00 - $42.00 per hour
