Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing, RN, to join our dedicated team. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee nursing operations, support resident care excellence, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. Your expertise in nursing administration, management, and clinical practices will help us deliver top-tier services while fostering a positive environment for residents and staff alike. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations across all shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality resident care Supervise nursing staff, including licensed nurses and caregivers, providing mentorship and performance evaluations Develop, review, and update individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs, ensuring compliance with regulations such as Medicare and HIPAA Oversee documentation review, medical records management, and accurate data entry within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to HIPAA privacy standards, medical terminology accuracy, and physiology knowledge in all documentation and communication Facilitate staff training on nursing practices, including MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments, shift management, and care coordination Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes while maintaining regulatory compliance Requirements Valid RN license with current state registration; prior experience in assisted living or nursing home environments preferred Demonstrated supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting with strong nurse management skills Knowledge of nursing administration principles, including care plans development and documentation review processes Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology knowledge essential for accurate recordkeeping Experience with Medicare regulations, MDS assessments, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift operations effectively Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for delivering compassionate resident-centered care Join our team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while advancing your career in a vibrant and supportive environment!
