Job Description

Santa Rita Nursing and Rehab (soon to be Haven Health Green Valley) is a 110-bed skilled-nursing facility located in beautiful Green Valley, AZ, only 20 minutes south of Tucson. Commute is all freeway! Santa Rita serves patients needing physical rehabilitation and/or complex nursing care. We love hard work, laughs and are building comradery! The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and is responsible for many clinical components of resident care. The ADON is a member of the Interdisciplinary Care Team and oversees resident care, lab /diagnostic services, anticoagulant monitoring, wound care, catheter management, psychotropic medication use, skin and weight review and Certified Nursing Assistant training and oversight. In the event that the Director of Nursing is unavailable, the ADON acts as the leader of clinical compliance for the facility.
