Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Employment

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated nurse to join our nursing leadership team in a dual-role position. This position plays a vital role in supporting clinical leadership, quality assurance and wound treatment services. Join us in creating a caring and compassionate environment! Essential Job Functions
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, audits, infection control initiatives, and performance improvement programs.
  • Assist with staff education, training, scheduling, and performance oversight.
  • Temporarily fulfill nurse roles when necessary, as directed by your supervisor.
  • Directly reports to and works with the Director of Nursing.
  • Participate in care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, S.W.I.F.T. (skin, weight, infections, fall trend meetings) and survey preparedness.
  • Provide leadership support to nursing staff and ensure compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations.
  • Provide "on call" support to nursing staff as per the schedule determined by the Administrator.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families.
  • Complete and maintain weekly skin reports, including resident response to treatment, wound descriptions, and assessments, and monitor Braden Scale scores to ensure appropriate skin intervention protocols are implemented.
  • Perform and oversee daily treatment orders, including wound care, skin integrity, respiratory, circulatory, and other ordered treatments; promptly report changes in resident condition or wound status to the physician
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and update resident care plans.
  • Demonstrate precision in all aspects of your work, particularly in thorough and accurate documentation Accurately receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders (verbal or written) on MAR/TAR, notify Unit Clerk of appointments, and ensure overall accuracy of clinical work.

  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle on-call responsibilities.
  • Perform physical requirements of the role safely. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist with resident mobility.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Exposure to healthcare environments and safety-sensitive conditions.
  • Participation in on-call rotation, including weekends.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position pursuant to
A.R.S. 23-493.
Required Minimum Education, Experience, and Training
  • Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing.
  • Current Arizona RN/LPN license or compact license, in good standing.
  • CPR certification.
  • Arizona DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Completion of annual in-service training and health requirements. - Licensed Practical Nurses will be considered for this role if they have experience, education or training to support the needs of the position. Pay range for LPN $30.60 - $37.39/hour; $3,500 sign on bonus with one year commitment. Benefits (Full-Time)

$39.60 - $49.81 per hour
