Looking for an experienced RN/LPN to join our team as the ADON!
Pay:
80k to 90k deepening on experienceShift:
Mon - Fri 8-5 pm South Mountain Post Acute , a 5 Star Quality Measures Rated Skilled Nursing Facility located in the heart of South Phoenix, is looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing to help grow and expand our clinical excellence. Assists and supports the Director of Nursing (DON) in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the clinical team. He/she ensures that the highest degree of care is maintained in accordance with all governmental regulations as may be directed by the DON, Administrator, and/or Medical Director. The ADON plays a critical role in staff development, clinical system audits, and developing programs within the facilityQualifications:
Valid RN/LPN license, in good standing, current CPR and BLS certifications Minimum, two (2) years' experience as a supervisor in health care setting Minimum six (6) months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices Proficiency with PCC is beneficial Strong communication and time management skills Ability to join and strengthen a strong leadership team Work collaboratively to improve systems and procedures Completes tasks on time, reports on successes, challenges, and offers solutions to problemsResponsibilities:
Aids nursing staff as needed (includes admissions, medication passes, wound care, etc.) Participates in developing, updating and implementing department policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department. Communicates with residents and families/responsible parties and staff; ensuring care plans are followed, instills confidence in care, de-escalates stressful interactions Participates in discharge planning Makes rounds to ensure patient needs are met and employees are completing assignments Assists in surveys (inspections); and following up with corrective action plans Remains up to date on regulations pertaining to clinical and skilled nursing practices Work with other department leaders as assigned Helps coordinate facility in-service training programs and requirements Performs administrative and clerical duties such as charting, completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc., as necessary and/or assignedPay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:
