The starting pay rate is $35/hr. and up, depending on experience and qualifications! Must have an LVN License and a flexible schedule! We are a skilled nursing facility and we are looking for dynamic associates to join our clinical team and provide our guests with a care experience that will change their lives! Encourage attending physicians to record and sign progress notes, physicians' orders, etc., on a timely basis and in accordance with current regulations. The Assistant Director of Staff Development (ADSD) is responsible for supporting the Director of Staff Development in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for nursing staff in a skilled nursing facility. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements while promoting professional growth and maintaining quality care standards. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing and conducting orientation programs for new nursing staff Support ongoing in-service education and competency evaluations Help maintain training records and documentation Collaborate in creating and updating educational materials Assist in monitoring compliance with federal and state regulations Support implementation of new policies and procedures Help coordinate continuing education programs Qualifications Must possess, as a minimum, two (2) years college. Must possess a Clear & Active LVN license in the State of California. Must have previous ADSD or DSD experience Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years of experience in a post-acute/ skilled nursing facility,or LTC preferred Required Skills Strong leadership and organizational abilities Effective teaching and mentoring capabilities Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Physical Requirements Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, including but not limited to: Standing and walking for extended periods Lifting up to 25 pounds Demonstrating clinical procedures Operating medical equipment
