Larger Skilled Nursing Facility with a busy Sub Acute unit, near beautiful Burbank California, seeks an experienced Director of Nursing Services. Responsibilities Lead and oversee nursing services, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards. Manage nursing staff, including supervision, scheduling, performance coaching, and workload balancing. Oversee nursing administration, HIPAA compliance, medical terminology accuracy, and secure handling of patient information within EHR and other systems. Ensure resident safety and rights, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and implement care plans, MDS processes, and Medicare-related requirements. Maintain quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives across home health, hospice, or facility settings as applicable.
