Job Description

Director of Nursing (DON) North Kern South Tulare Hospital District (NKSTHD) NKSTHD is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead and oversee nursing services in a skilled nursing setting. This role ensures high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and effective staff management.
Responsibilities:
Oversee nursing staff, scheduling, and daily operations Ensure compliance with Title 22, CMS, and state/federal regulations Lead infection control, QAPI, and survey readiness Manage staffing (PPD) and PBJ reporting Support staff development and promote quality care
Qualifications:
Active CA RN license (BSN required; Master's preferred) 3-5 years skilled nursing experience 2+ years in nursing leadership Knowledge of Title 22,
CMS, PPD, and PBJ Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM (flexible, some on-call)
Salary:
