We're DHCS-licensed at ASAM 3.1, 3.2-WM, and 3.5, treating adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. This role is open to either an RN with strong SUD/mental health credentials or a PMHNP who can also prescribe within scope. You'll own nursing operations, medication oversight, and overall program management — partnering closely with our Medical Director.
The Role Direct nursing operations:
supervise RNs, LVNs, and BHTs; lead 24/7 staffing Oversee all medication administration, detox protocols (CIWA/COWS), MAT, and prescribing compliance PMHNP candidates: provide direct psychiatric prescribing and medication management within scope Serve as designated Program Director — DHCS compliance, surveys, accreditation, policies, budget Lead Joint Commission readiness and quality improvement What You Bring Active CA RN or PMHNP license in good standing Credential in psychiatry, mental health, or SUD (CARN, CARN-AP, PMH-BC, CASAC, or equivalent; PMHNP board cert qualifies) 5+ years of SUD, behavioral health, psychiatric, or detox nursing experience 2+ years of nursing leadership/supervisory experience Working knowledge of ASAM criteria, DHCS
BHIN 21-001, CCR
