A Director of Nursing/Administrator enjoys some notable benefits: $120,000 - $130,000 a year Make a positive impact in the lives of others through the work you do A family-oriented culture that values people and promotes work-life balance Online training, growth, and ability to earn CEUs PTO, Sick and Holiday Pay, Health/Dental 401(k) with match As a Director of Nursing/Administrator here is a view of the job requirements: Oversee the delivery of clinical and caregiver services, ensuring the highest quality of patient/client care in accordance with home health laws and regulatory standards. Coordinate and manage a team of nurses, therapists, CNAs, aides, and social workers to ensure client and patient goals are met. Recruit, hire, orient, train, supervise and retain qualified clinicians and caregivers. Ensure medical supplies/equipment are delivered and staff are trained on care procedures. Assess patient/client needs, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of satisfaction. Effectively manage financial resources related to the delivery of quality patient/client care. Direct the daily operations of Home Health, including staff supervision, patient care, quality assurance, budget management, and regulatory compliance. Oversee an interdisciplinary home health care team of nurses, therapists, and caregivers to ensure a patient's goals are met and concerns are addressed. Act as a liaison between patients and their families and the home health care team Recruit, hire, orient, train, supervise, and retain qualified clinicians and caregivers. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, home health regulations, and government guidelines! Manage financial operations, including budget, financial statements, expenses, and billing. Completing the required forms and charting for each case intake, transfer, and discharge and inputting the data into our patient's management platform. Fostering a culture of patient safety and promoting continuous quality improvement.
Regulatory Compliance:
Staying current with regulations related to home health care delivery and ensuring compliance across all nursing and caregiving activities. Preparing for and participating in regulatory surveys and audits, addressing deficiencies, and implementing corrective actions. Ensure all client files are kept in accordance and/or compliance with HIPPA and applicable regulatory guidelines. A few must-haves for aDirector of Nursing/Administrator:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN or BSN license in CA Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in home healthcare At least 2 years of supervisory and caregiver management experience CPR certification Extensive knowledge of state and federal home health laws and regulatory standards Excellent management, organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills Why Work for Interim HealthCare?
