This role supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clincial operations, ensuring high quality of care and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Nursing with daily nursing operations Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LVNs & C.N.A.'s) Participate in care planning, audits and quality improvement initiatives Lead the Interdisciplinary Team in reviewing post incident details, document investigations and care plan interventions. Responsible for the monthly and daily schedule of Licensed Nurses. Assist with hiring Licensed Nurses.
Other skills used periodically:
IV insertion, IV administration.
Qualifications:
Active RN License in good standing Previous experience in Skilled nursing or long term care setting Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
