Strategic & Operational Leadership Drives strategic and operational direction for nursing services, translating priorities into measurable outcomes; leads initiatives that improve quality, safety, access, equity, and efficiency while ensuring readiness in complex and changing environments. 3. Professional Practice & Governance Ensures excellence in nursing practice through evidence-based standards; oversees shared governance, promotes continuous improvement, and represents nursing perspectives in organizational decision-making. 4. Communication & Relationship Management Communicates transparently across all levels; builds strong interdisciplinary partnerships and fosters collaboration, alignment, and effective conflict resolution. 5. Quality, Safety & Regulatory Oversight Leads quality and safety efforts using data-driven decision-making; ensures compliance with regulatory standards and integrates evidence, innovation, and population health strategies to improve outcomes. 6. Financial & Workforce Leadership Oversees financial and operational resources; leads workforce strategy including recruitment, retention, development, and succession planning while ensuring accountability for clinical and financial outcomes.
