This is a full-time, on-site role located in Centennial, CO, in the heart of the south Denver metro area with convenient access from surrounding communities. Note:
This role requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in Colorado. Candidates without a current RN license will not be considered. Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility experience is strongly preferred. Job Description Serve as a key clinical leader alongside the Director of Nursing, helping to set and uphold standards of care across the nursing department Champion resident assessments, drive timely clinical interventions, and ensure care planning reflects each resident's individual needs and preferences Build, energize, and mentor a high-performing nursing team through hands-on coaching, education, and genuine day-to-day support Monitor quality indicators and care delivery data, identify trends, and take proactive action to keep operations safe, smooth, and survey-ready Partner with the DON on infection control, safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance including PPS, MDS, OBRA, and OSHA standards Roll up your sleeves on admissions, staffing, hiring, and performance management — this is a hands-on leadership role, not a desk job Coordinate and facilitate staff education programs that keep the nursing team sharp, compliant, and growing professionally Champion person-centered care philosophies including the Eden Alternative to create a vibrant, resident-driven community Support additional nursing and operational initiatives that advance resident care and overall community goals Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in Colorado (required) 1+ years of clinical experience as an LPN or RN in a Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing setting strongly preferred 1+ years of supervisory or charge nurse experience with direct report responsibilities 1+ years of experience in staff education, training, or adult learner development Working knowledge of PPS, MDS, OBRA, and OSHA regulatory requirements preferred BSN preferred but not required Administrative or ADON experience a plus Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills Proficiency with relevant healthcare technology and electronic health records Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally; comfortable sitting, standing, bending, and managing frequent interruptions throughout the day Why You Will Love Working Here This role puts you at the center of something that matters.
