$110,000 - $120,000/year

We are seeking a strong, clinically driven RN leader to serve as our Director of Nursing / Health & Wellness Director . This role is responsible for overseeing all clinical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading a high-performing care team to deliver exceptional resident outcomes. Position Summary The Director of Nursing (DON) / Health & Wellness Director is responsible for the overall clinical leadership and regulatory compliance of the community. This includes managing nursing staff, overseeing resident care plans, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations , and partnering with the Executive Director to maintain high-quality care and strong resident outcomes . Key Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all resident care services Ensure compliance with state regulations, policies, and clinical standards Supervise, coach, and develop nursing and care staff Oversee resident assessments, care plans, and service delivery Monitor and improve quality assurance and clinical outcomes Manage medication administration systems and protocols Partner with Executive Director on operations, staffing, and census support Lead family communication regarding care needs and changes in condition Ensure readiness for state surveys and regulatory audits Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation What We're Looking For Active RN License (REQUIRED - must be in good standing) Prior experience as a Director of Nursing, Health & Wellness Director, or Nurse Manager Experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care (preferred) Strong knowledge of state regulations and compliance requirements Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive accountability Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills Strong communication skills with residents, families, and staff Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
