Here is the generated job description: Assistant Director of Nursing ADON/RN Full-Time Opportunity in Crescent City, Florida The Pavilion at Crescent Lake We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON/RN) to join our team at The Pavilion at Crescent Lake in Crescent City, Florida. As a key leader in our nursing department, you will play a vital role in promoting a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement in resident care.
Position Summary:
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing the clinical operations of the nursing department to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to residents. This includes planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Services department, as well as its programs and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Services department, as well as its programs and activities. Interpret and communicate policies and procedures to nursing staff, and monitor staff practices and implementation. Participate in QAPI or facility assessment activities as needed, such as carrying out duties assigned as part of a performance improvement committee. Facilitate, serve, attend, or participate in various committees of the facility as appointed. Perform rounds to observe residents and ensure nursing needs are being met. Conduct observations of nursing care and supervise development of in-service education to ensure nursing staff is competent in current knowledge and skills. Promote teamwork, mutual respect, and effective communication. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university. Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home, or other related healthcare facilities. Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practicing state. Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care. Current CPR certification.
