Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily clinical operations of our skilled nursing facility. The ADON plays a key leadership role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting nursing staff development.Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing nursing services Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Florida-specific guidelines Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs Monitor patient care standards and implement quality improvement initiatives Participate in staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions Oversee infection control, safety protocols, and clinical documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal resident outcomes Step in as acting Director of Nursing in their absenceQualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting Strong knowledge of state and federal nursing home regulations Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferredBenefits:
