Duties Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance nursing services, aligning with organizational goals and industry standards Oversee budgeting processes for the nursing department, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective operations Lead, manage, and mentor nursing staff to foster a high-performance team dedicated to compassionate patient care Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols Collaborate with educational administration to support ongoing staff training, professional development, and university partnerships Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing clinical outcomes and implementing evidence-based practices Facilitate effective communication across departments to ensure seamless patient care coordination and operational efficiency Experience Proven management experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within a Skilled Nursing facility or hospital environment Strong background in strategic planning and budgeting within healthcare organizations Extensive leadership experience with a focus on team development and staff management Demonstrated expertise in education administration and fostering academic partnerships with universities or teaching institutions Prior experience in teaching or mentoring healthcare professionals is highly desirable Familiarity with AHCA regulations, JCAHO accreditation processes, and quality assurance standards A valid RN nursing license with significant clinical experience supporting leadership capabilities This position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
