Full Time Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital celebrated the groundbreaking of its new Wesley Chapel campus on March 27, 2025. Scheduled to open in 2027, this state-of-the-art facility will expand access to compassionate, family-centered pediatric care for families throughout Pasco County and surrounding communities. The campus will feature 56 inpatient beds, a 16-room Emergency Center, and four operating rooms, supporting a wide range of specialized pediatric services. The Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) provides strategic and operational leadership for nursing services within the assigned hospital department. This role ensures high-quality, evidenced based patient care by overseeing clinical standards, staffing, regulatory compliance, and patient safety initiatives. Working closely with physician and administrative leaders, the Executive Director drives departmental performance, strengthens care delivery processes, and supports organizational goals. This leader develops nursing talent, promotes accountability, and advances a culture of continuous improvement to achieve strong patient outcomes and an excellent care experience. Essential Functions In-depth knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and administration to plan and evaluate nursing standards and practice Expert verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills Advanced interpersonal skills necessary to provide effective leadership and collaboration within a multidisciplinary setting Accountable for the development and monitoring of the program budget; assures cost-effective use of resources Authority to act, implement, and recommend actions to others Analytical ability necessary to oversee, direct, and evaluate objectives and operations of nursing programs Develops and administers sound policies, procedures, budgets, and standards Identifies and responds to deficiencies and initiates corrective actions to achieve desired results Analyzes complex data sets to address clinical, operational, and personnel management issues Qualifications Doctoral Degree (Ph.D., Ed.

D.) Salary Range:
Minimum 176,679.00/annually - Maximum 225,487.00/annually. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
