Residential treatment facility located in Eastman, Georgia. We are seeking a Director of Nursing (RN) to lead and actively participate in nursing services within our detox and residential program. This role combines clinical leadership with direct patient care in a structured, small-facility environment. The Director of Nursing is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant 24/7 nursing coverage while also working hands-on shifts as part of the care team. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Oversight Serve as the designated Director of Nursing for Georgia DBHDD licensure Ensure 24/7 nursing coverage for

detox services Supervise RNs, LPNs, and nursing support staff Develop and maintain nursing schedules Oversee medication management and controlled substance logs Ensure compliance with detox protocols (CIWA, COWS, MAT) Maintain nursing policies and procedures Participate in quality assurance and chart reviews Ensure infection control standards are followed Direct Patient Care (Hands-On Role) Conduct nursing assessments on admission Monitor withdrawal symptoms and vital signs Administer medications per standing orders Maintain accurate EMR documentation Respond to medical concerns and initiate emergency protocols Coordinate with Nurse Practitioner and Medical Director This is not a desk-only role. The Director of Nursing will actively participate in patient care. Required Qualifications Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 3 years nursing experience Experience in detox, inpatient, emergency, or behavioral health setting Supervisory or leadership experience Strong understanding of medication administration and withdrawal monitoring Preferred Qualifications Prior Director of Nursing or Nurse Manager experience Experience in
