Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team at Woodstock Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Woodstock, Georgia. As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership to our nursing team, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and promoting a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities:

Provide visionary leadership to the nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Oversee the delivery of patient care, ensuring that services meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness Monitor and evaluate the performance of the nursing team, providing coaching and mentoring as needed Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, families, and caregivers to ensure patient-centered care Participate in budget planning and management, ensuring effective allocation of resources

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (Director of Nursing or equivalent) Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire the nursing team Proven track record of promoting quality patient care and improving patient outcomes Long term care experience required
