Green Hills Community is recruiting for a hospitality focused Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team! This role is responsible for the twenty-four-hour nursing care of all residents through the performance of the nursing personnel.
YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL
… Develop, organize, and operate the nursing services and supportive services for the Health Care Center. Build and maintain positive relationships with government agencies, residents, resident family members, and employees. Maintain a schedule of daily rounds and assignments of duties for all nursing staff to assure 24-hour coverage sufficient to meet federal and state regulatory requirements and community standards of care. Interview and hire new nursing personnel for all levels of care. Oversee the completion of new hire and annual performance evaluations. Observe and assist in direct resident care. Assist in covering shifts, per the community need. Not limited to working as a CNA or Charge Nurse.
WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU
… Have a degree from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience, or Associate's degree of Nursing. Current registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Have geriatric nursing experience. Have one year of management experience supervising others. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
