Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations and ensure the delivery of exceptional resident-centered care. The DON is responsible for overseeing nursing services, maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting staff development, and driving quality outcomes within a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing services Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Manage staffing, scheduling, and nursing department budgets Oversee clinical systems, policies, and procedures Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives Prepare for and participate in regulatory surveys and audits Monitor resident care outcomes and implement improvements Mentor and develop nursing leadership and staff Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and medical providers Address clinical concerns and ensure timely resolution Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing staff
Qualifications:
Active RN license in good standing (state-specific) Previous Director of Nursing or nursing leadership experience preferred Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute setting strongly preferred Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and survey process Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Commitment to high-quality, resident-centered care
Schedule & Compensation:
