The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, consistency, regulatory excellence, and the development of high‑performing teams. As DON, you will play a vital leadership role in ensuring exceptional care outcomes and advancing our mission. Responsibilities Lead and oversee all nursing operations to ensure compliance with state, federal, and internal clinical standards. Provide direct oversight and mentoring to nursing staff, promoting clinical excellence, accountability, and teamwork. Coordinate and collaborate with physicians, therapists, clinical partners, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive, dignified care. Guide and participate in resident assessments, individualized care planning, and ongoing clinical review. Support residents and families through clear communication, education, and compassionate engagement. Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation. Champion continuous improvement initiatives, quality assurance processes, and staff development programs. Requirements Valid RN license in the state of practice. Strong working knowledge of clinical systems, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements. Prior experience in geriatric care and patient assessment. Previous Director of Nursing or nursing leadership experience in long-term care strongly preferred. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Understanding of common medical conditions, clinical protocols, and resident‑centered care best practices.
