Interim Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Luther Park Community is seeking an Interim ADON for Trinity Center at Luther Park Community, a 120-bed skilled nursing facility which specializes in Dementia Care. If you are a skilled, compassionate nurse that is dedicated to making sure the best quality of care is given, we want to talk to you! This interim position would begin as soon as all requirements are met and run until August/September of 2026. The ideal candidate has a love for the elderly, promotes teamwork, is a great communicator and mentor to staff and is grounded in excellent resident care. The ADON provides clinical management leadership and direction to nursing personnel through planning, organizing and carrying out nursing services. Responsible for orienting all licensed personnel, regardless of shift, to the facility. Responsible for instructing and supervising nursing personnel. Complies with established policies and procedures.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse who currently possesses a valid license in good standing in the state of Iowa.
• Prefer 2 years of previous leadership experience.
• Must be well-versed in human relations and administrative management.
