Full-Time Keosauqua Health Care is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - RN to join our skilled nursing facility in Keosauqua, IA. The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) assists in directing and overseeing the daily operations of the Nursing Department under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. This leadership role supports clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, staff development, and high-quality resident care. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing with the overall management of the Nursing Department Support and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care Monitor compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Participate in staff education, training, and performance improvement initiatives Assist with scheduling, staffing, and clinical operations as needed Conduct rounds to monitor resident care and address clinical concerns Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members Promote a positive, resident-centered care environment Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Minimum of one (1) year of RN supervisory experience as a DON, ADON, or similar leadership role in a long-term care setting Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards of practice Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment Benefits We strive to provide our employees with a comprehensive and affordable benefits package including: Medical and Prescription Drug Coverage Dental and Vision Insurance Telemedicine Program Company-Paid Group Life Insurance Voluntary Term Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Benefits, bonuses, and variable compensation plans are based on applicable state law and factors such as pay classification (full-time, part-time, or casual), job grade, location, and length of service. # INDNURSEMGMT
