The central goal of this position will be to develop a collaborative and efficient workplace with specific attention to quality resident care. You will perform a range of duties including but not limited to maintaining the nursing department, setting long term goals and overseeing record keeping processes.
Duties:
  • Manage the daily operations of the nursing department
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of resident care plans, ensuring that each resident receives personalized care that meets their unique needs.
  • Conduct regular documentation reviews to ensure that medical records are accurate and complete.
  • Foster an environment that promotes resident rights, dignity, and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the medical director to ensure that residents receive high-quality medical care.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to the highest level of patient care and professionalism.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve the quality of care and reduce the risk of adverse events.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing administration
  • Proven experience with HIPAA and Medicare regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A commitment to resident rights and dignity.
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain any necessary certifications or clearances.
