Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities Lead all nursing operations within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Long Term Care (LTC) environment Ensure compliance with CMS regulations, state guidelines, and survey standards Maintain survey readiness, participate in state surveys, and implement plans of correction Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing leadership and clinical staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) Drive quality measures, infection control initiatives, and clinical outcomes Oversee staffing, scheduling, and labor management to ensure appropriate coverage Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to support resident care Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Illinois or compact eligible) 3+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Strong knowledge of Long Term Care (LTC), CMS regulations, and survey process Proven ability to improve clinical outcomes, staff retention, and survey performance Hands-on leadership style with strong communication and team-building skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $95,000
