Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Job Summary:
Evercare at Stearns is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team in Granite City, IL. As an ADON, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional nursing care and leadership to our residents. Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to drive quality care and resident satisfaction Collaborate with the Medical Director and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans Conduct regular rounds and assessments to evaluate resident care and identify areas for improvement Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting open communication and team collaboration Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation Participate in state and federal surveys, providing expertise and insights to drive continuous improvement Champion quality improvement initiatives, monitoring and reporting on metrics and outcomes
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care or senior living setting, with a focus on nursing leadership Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois Strong clinical and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities Strong knowledge of current regulations, standards, and best practices in long-term care
