- Assistant Director of Nursing St. Patrick's Residence is a Faith-Based, nonprofit, long-term care, and short-term rehabilitation facility, which is served by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm. Since 1964, the Sisters and their staff and volunteers have lovingly cared for individuals with love, respect and dignity. We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing

RN Qualifications:
Current IL RN License. 5 years of SNF and LTC experience required. Supervisory experience preferred. Ability to assess and care for high acuity patients. Strong clinical skills. Infection Preventionist Certificate or experience preferred. Experience in promoting and facilitating teamwork. A dependable, kind, and energetic demeanor. PCC experience required. RN Job Summary:
Assist in the development and maintenance of nursing services objectives and standards. Provide staff development in multiple disciplines including risk management and quality assurance. Assist in governance of day-to-day functions of the nursing department. Collaborate with Director of Nursing and other Department Heads to ensure quality care for residents. Participates in meetings and communicates appropriate information. Plan, develop, coordinate and document quality assurance and performance improvement. Serve as On-Call nurse as necessary.
